Job description:
Key Tasks:
- Diagnose windscreen repair requirements.
- Address customer complaints and warranty issues.
- Cut and process flat laminated glass.
- Store and handle glass properly.
- Develop product knowledge of auto glazing and apply this knowledge to work tasks.
- Communicate with customers and take job orders.
- Apply environment and sustainability best practices in an automotive workplace.
- Apply safe working practices in accordance with OH&S procedures.
- Use and maintain company-provided workplace tools and equipment, including motor vehicles.
- Handle and be responsible for customer payments.
- Participate in regular staff meetings.
- Effective communication with customers regarding instructions, requests, and job-specific information.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in window fitting.
- Certificate in auto glazing or similar qualification.
- Must be able to provide a current CV with experience relevant to the role.
- Must provide copies of trade certificates, valid payslips/bank statements, and evidence of employment.
- Valid Passport (or birth certificate) and Driver's Licence required.
